How to be the award winner?
. The winner is elected by the IETI Annual Scientific Award Committee.
. Preference is given to top researchers who have previously received famous awards such as the Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, New Horizons Prizes, among others.
. The candidate must be a leading researcher and Full Professor in their field of research, with no age limit for this award. They must also be an elected IETI Fellow, recognized for innovative and excellent research contributions that have made a positive global impact.
. Candidates must provide a statement of personal achievements and contributions, detailing why they meet the award criteria.
. A complete resume is required.
. A brief introduction (less than 400 words) must be provided.
. Introduce an individual's contributions to the field in one sentence or paragraph.
. Submission of five or more representative research papers is mandatory.
. Two IETI Fellows can nominate one fellow for the Annual Scientific Award.
. It is important to note that IETI members cannot be nominated for this award; it is exclusively designed for IETI Fellows.
. Annually, one to three winners are selected for this award. In cases where standards are not fully met, the candidate with the highest alignment to the criteria may be elected.

Nominations are now open for the year 2024. The deadline for submitting nominations is September 30, 2024. Nomination packages should be sent via email to info#ieti.net. The awardee(s) will be announced before December 31, 2024.
