
On June 26, Professor Jinde Cao, an IETI Distinguished Fellow and Chief Professor at Southeast University (SEU), was elected as a Foreign Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
It is reported that membership in the Polish Academy of Sciences represents the highest lifelong official honor bestowed upon scholars in Poland! Professor Cao was gloriously elected in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the fields of science and engineering, as well as his long-standing dedication to both international and domestic scientific research collaborations.

Biography of the Academician:
Professor Jinde Cao serves as a Member of the Southeast University Committee, Director of the Faculty of Science, and Dean of Sanjiang College. He is also the Chairman of the Engineering Research Center of Intelligent Transportation System (Ministry of Education) and a Member of the Ministry of Education's Teaching Guidance Committee for Mathematics Majors in Higher Education Institutions. He previously served as the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee of SEU. He was also a recipient of the inaugural National Innovation Excellence Award.
He is an IETI Distinguished Fellow, a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher, and ranked among Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists. His prestigious academic distinctions include being a Fellow of the IEEE, a Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a Member of the Academia Europaea (Academy of Europe), a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a Foreign Member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, a Foreign Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences, and a Foreign Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences.
