During the 2026 World Digital Education Conference, the Secretary General of the International Institute of Engineering and Technology (IETI), on behalf of the association, presented honorary medals to Professor Rattasit Sukhahuta, Vice Rector of Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and Professor Oscar Karnalim, Vice Rector of Christian University Maranhada, Indonesia.

Professor Rattasit Sukhahuta, elected an IETI Fellow in 2025, received the IETI Fellow medal; Professor Oscar Karnalim received the 4th Michael E. Auer Young Scientist Award in 2025 and received an honorary medal for that award.
