
The 3rd Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference and Xiangjiang Nobel Forum were grandly held in Hong Kong from April 11 to 15, 2026. Professor Gabriel Xiao-Guang Yue, Vice Rector (International Cooperation) of Turon University (Uzbekistan), Academician of the Pakistan Academy of Engineering, and Secretary-General of International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI), was invited to attend and speak at the roundtable forum.
IETI Co-Founder and Secretary-General Prof. Gabriel Xiao-Guang Yue engaged in in-depth exchanges at the roundtable forum with Professor Wai-Kwong Lee, Vice President of City University of Hong Kong; Professor Sir Andre Geim, Nobel Laureate in Physics; Academician Qingquan Chen of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Academician Ryad Chellali of the Italian Institute of Technology; Academician Giulio Chiribella of the University of Hong Kong; and Academician Song Guo of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He proposed that young scientists should seek Five Mentors (academic mentor, industry mentor, international mentor, psychological mentor, and life mentor), strive for a work-life balance, and maintain physical and mental health. He also emphasized that future technology will undoubtedly become smarter, more inclusive, and more benevolent.
