Recently, the prestigious academic organization International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI) formally signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Turon University in Uzbekistan.
Under the agreement, IETI and Turon University will leverage their respective strengths to carry out in-depth collaboration in six key areas: Joint training of high-level talent such as PhD candidates and postdocs; Selective nomination of IETI Fellows and Members; Appointment to IETI honorary positions; Sharing of research and teaching posts; High-level academic conferences and distinguished lectures; Joint research and publication in top-tier journals. The partnership not only reinforces IETI’s central role in the global elite academic ecosystem, but also provides a vital platform for Turon University—and Uzbek higher education more broadly—to integrate into international research networks. Going forward, both sides will continue to broaden and deepen their cooperation, contributing jointly to the advancement of engineering and technology and to the cultivation of a global talent hub.
