
On February 16th, Demetri Terzopoulos, an Oscar Award Laureate, IEEE Fellow, ACM Fellow, Fellow of the Royal Society of the UK, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, IETI Laureate Distinguished Fellow, and a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), was appointed as the President of the IETI Academic Advisory Committee. This appointment was nominated by Kelvin Joseph Bwalya and Gabriel Xiao-Guang Yue, reviewed and supported by the two Presidents of the IETI Council, Julien S. Baker and Cao Yong, and approved by the two Presidents of IETI, M. James C. Crabbe and Ramesh K. Agarwal.
