Zhihua Zhang is a Taishan Distinguished Professor at Shandong University (China) and is leading an interdisciplinary big data mining group, his long-standing researches focus on developing data mining techniques and exploring data-driven interdisciplinary applications. Prof. Zhang has published 10 books (2 with Elsevier, 7 with Springer, and 1 with DeGruyter) and more than 70 articles. These researches have highlighted as journal featured paper and title story, and reported many times by New Scientist (UK), China Science Daily, and China Social Science Daily. His five monographs have been used widely in 60 countries around the world. Prof. Zhang is a PIor co-PI of key scientific research projects from Horizon2020 Framework Program (European Commission), Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition Program of Ministry of Science and Technology (China), Ministry of Education (China), Shandong Provincial Government (China), Beijing Municipal Government (China) and so on.
