Prof. Dr. Marco A. Cabero Z. is the president of theAndean Road Countries for Science and Technology (ARCST) an international scientific organization dedicated tostablish a scientific and technological bridge between China, Latin America,the Caribbean and other countries in the south. Dr.Cabero is also the DeputySecretary of the South-SouthBiodiversity Science Project (SSBSP), an initiative of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF). Dr Cabero advocates the harmonious development of nature, science andtechnology as a whole, and strives to promote the participation of differentinstitutions and collaborators in the framework of UNESCO Media and Information Literacy (MIL), through the Green Science Popularization (GSP), promoting international scientific and culturalexchanges between China and the global south.Prof. Cabero is member of the executive board of the International Green Science Academy Network (IGSAN). He is alsothe editor-in chief of the Journal ofLatin American Sciences and Culture (JLASC). He has published severalscientific papers in the fields of organicspintronics, spincaloritronics, quantum physics and green energy. He is responsible for the creation of the first science platform to connect China and Latin America. At this moment, a group ofdifferent international academic, research and development institutions areworking with his team at ARCST and CBCGDF, UNESCO MIL, IGSAN, and Unidad Centraldel Valle del Cauca (UCEVA) on the Science Culture Construction (SCC) based onthe amendments of the first Declaration on Science and Climate Literacy acrossLatin America and the Caribbean that was published in 2021.
