Dr. Manzoor Khan is the head of Connected and Autonomous Mobility research group at Emriated Center for Mobility Research and Assistant Professor at Collage of Computer & Network Engineering, Collage of IT, UAEU. He has served as the Research Director of Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Technical University Berlin, Germany. He also served as adjunct professor and Director of Network and Mobility Competence Center at DAI Labor, TU Berlin, Germany. Dr. Khan has led one of Berlin’s flagship research projects towards autonomous driving in Berlin. He was country trial site leader for an EU large-scale project focusing on Intelligent vehicles and smart communication. He has led and participated in various large and medium scale EU, EIT-Digital, Celtic-Plus, and Industrial projects focusing on Autonomous Driving, Machine Learning for different application domains, E-Health, Mobile Networks, Software Defined Networking, Network Virtualization, etc. He hase been very active in introducing learning approaches to different domains of smart cities. He had also been active in collaborative research within Europe, China, and USA. He has been involved in design and development of large scale demonstrators. Dr. Khan was the recipient of several best paper awards and appreciation certificates. He is the author of several scientific publications including conference papers, journal articles, and book chapters.
