Dr. Balti Ala was born in Tunisia, he received a PhD  in Signal and Image processing since 2014 from the National High School of Engineering of Tunis (ENSIT),Tunisia, and a master and  engineer degree since 2009 and 2006, respectively,  in Electrical, Automatic and Control from University of Carthage. He has a previous experience of 10 years as research project supervisor. He is on Monastir University and Jendouba University as an associate professor of electrical engineering, signal processing, image processing and Technology, he is member in research laboratory SIME (Signal, Image and Energie Management). His primary research interests include biometrics systems, machine learning, embedded system and applications in intelligent systems. He has co-authored more than 30 research publications in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings.
