Dr. Mirabbos Hojamberdiev is a Senior Scientist at the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth, Uzbekistan. He is working on the development of advanced materials for energy conversion and environmental remediation. Dr. Hojamberdiev has published more than 182 papers in highly ranked international journals with h-index of 33 and given numerous invited talks at international conferences. Dr. Hojamberdiev’s research has been recognized and awarded by the President’s Award of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2004, TWAS Prize for Young Scientists in Developing Countries in 2010, Atta-ur-Rahman Prize in Chemistry for Young Scientists in 2015, Georg Forster Research Award in 2017, IUPAC-CHEMRAWN VII Prize for Green Chemistry in 2018, Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship in 2019, etc. Dr. Hojamberdiev is a member of various international professional societies, including American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, etc. The ultimate goal of Dr. Hojamberdiev is to develop inexpensive, efficient, stable, and scalable advanced materials for solar water splitting for hydrogen generation and environmental remediation.
