Alexandru Tabusca is a Romanian professor and researcher, specialized in the field of IT applied in economics and web programming. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science for Economics, a master’s degree in Computer Science for Business and a PhD in Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics. He joined the Romanian-American University, as faculty with the School of Computer Science for Business Management and as IT Director since 2001, right after graduating the bachelor’s program. In 2020 he became the Dean of the School of Computer Science for Business Management and Chief Information Officer of the Romanian-American University. Alexandru is also the editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Information Systems and Operations Management”, a scientific journal indexed in prestigious databases (eg. Ebsco, ProQuest, RePEC, Index Copernicus etc.). He is married and has a child, leaves in Bucharest, Romania, and constantly pursues the gaining of new knowledge in the fields of computer science, economics, and management.
