Zélia Breda is Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro and Director of the MSc in Tourism Management and Planning. She has a degree in Tourism Management and Planning, a Master degree in Chinese Studies –Business and International Relations and a PhD in Tourism. She is an integrated member of the Research Unit‘Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies, and a founding member and vice-president of the Observatory of China, and a senior consultant of Idtour, a tourism R&D spin-off company. She has been specializing in topics related to tourism planning and development, networks and governance, Chinese outbound tourism, gender and tourism, and internationalisation of the tourism economy.
