Luo Ying, Ph.D., Prof. of the school of art and design, Wuhan University of Technology. Visiting scholar of the art college of University of Nevada in 2009 , USA. She has attended exhibitions and held solo exhibitions and lectures at the University of California, Berkeley, San Francisco Art institute, Washington State University in USA， Lorraine University, France and other places. On the 15th February,2015, a special report on Luo Ying and her works was published by People’s Daily, overseas edition. On the 23th October, 2013, The New York Times published a exclusive interview,Line by Line,the Artist Luo Ying Alters Chinese Tradition. Her theoretical work Line Image- the Origin and Formation of Chinese Painting won the ninth qu yuan prize for literature and art, was collected by the British Library, Library of Congress, Columbia University Library,  Munich University Library and so on.
