Pr. Mohamed N. Harmas,
Dr. Mohamed N. Harmas has earned his Master’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from California State University of Sacramento in 1980 with the equivalent of Dean’s Honour Roll, and has served as an Electrical Design Engineer with Cities Service Co and Williams Brothers Engineering, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA up to 1984. He received his PhD degree in Control Systems from Sétif University, Sétif, Algeria, in 2007. He has been a lecturer and Assistant-Professor with the University of Batna up to 1992 where he served as Dean of Graduates Studies, INES of Batna, Algeria (1987-1989. He also served as Dean of Graduates Studies, Engineering Department, Sétif University (1991-1992) and as a professor in Control Systems since 2012. He served as Quere research laboratory Director (2008-2009) and as a team research head up to now. His research activities include more than 60 papers in scientific journals, book chapter and international conference proceedings and are focused in the area of robust control, power electronics, power systems control, and renewable energy.
