Krzysztof Szczepaniak, doctor of economics since 2007, works for the Faculty of Management of Gdansk University as a assistant professor and the Head of Investment Division. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 papers reviewed in national journals. He is an expert in an assessment panel for projects seeking EU funding in Pomeranian Marshall Office (Region Authority in Poland). He is also a member of JESSICA Holding Fund Investment Board in Pomeranian District. Author or supervisor of financial and economic analysis of projects, analysis of real estate market and companies valuations. Since 2014 he is vice president of management board in Techtransbalt Ltd. – the special purpose vehicle that is a company responsible for technology transfer at University of Gdansk and development of ecosystem for innovation in the university. He has worked 9 years as a head of operational departments in financial institutions including banks and 6 years in local government in Poland. He has practical skills and great knowledge about the financial instruments available in Poland. As a scientist he is interested in building of effective systems of innovation transferring, evaluation of corporations and investment projects and the global financial and derivatives markets.
