Dr. Au Yong Hui Nee holds a PhD degree in Technology Management from University of Science Malaysia, a graduate of MA Economics from University of Tsukuba in Japan and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Resource Economics from UPM (Universiti Putra Malaysia). She is the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Finance, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. She was a certified safety and health officer and Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management. She has published 15 articles in indexed journals - Web of Science (ISI) and Scopus Journal and Conference Proceedings Lists, including International Journal of Applied Business and Economic Research, International Journal of Business and Society, International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management, Journal of the Malaysian Institute of Planners, Pertanika Journal of Social Sciences &. Humanities and Work: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment & Rehabilitation. She has also published over 50 refereed journal articles and conference papers. She serves as a reviewer for three international journals. Dr. Au Yong was trained in an investment bank. Prior to joining academia, she held management positions in multinational technology companies and the public sector. She was the founding manager of data department and QESH management system department of the technology companies. Furthermore, Dr. Au Yong's extensive industry and research expertise have led to much success. She has been involved in several research and consulting projects. She has received research grants to the amount of US$30,000 between 2015 and 2017. She is a recipient Malaysian Institute of Management Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award 1995, Japanese Government Monbukagakusho Scholarship 1995 and East Coast Economic Region Regional Conference 2008 Best Paper Award.
