Dr. Dipen Kumar Rajak is currently working as Assistant Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sandip Institute of Technology & Research Centre (SITRC), Nashik.

He has completed his research in Deformation Behaviour of Aluminium Alloy Foam at Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad and CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal. He received the Doctor of Philosophy from Department of Mining Machinery Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad.

He has authored several scientific articles in high Impact Journals and also written a book chapter, book which is Aluminium Alloy Foam. His research contribute includes articles in Design Analysis, Numerical Validation, Artificial Neural Network, and Optimization Techniques. He has received Best Session Paper Award in International Conferences, 2015 in Thailand. Dr. Rajak is associated with many Universities, along with that he is an Editorial Board Members of Reputed Journals and also a reviewer of International Journal (SCI & Scopus Index). Also he receives Outstanding Reviewer Award and Recognized Reviewer Award from Elsevier Journals. He is a life member of Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Also looks forward to guide many research scholars often developing his own interest in the field which he is expertized.

His research interest in Metal Foam, Synthesis of Foam, Metal Matrix Composite, Structure Property Correlations, Structural Defect, Mechanical Properties, Materials, Light Metals, Pores Characterization, Wall-Thickens Analysis, Mechanical Testing, Crash-worthiness, Design and Analytical Study of Various Components and Systems Related to Automotive Technology etc.
