Rakib F. Efendiev is a Professor and Head of the Mathematics Department at Baku Engineering University. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematical Analysis from Baku State University and holds the academic title of  Professor in Differential Equations. His research focuses on inverse spectral problems, non-selfadjoint differential operators, and spectral theory. Prof. Efendiev has participated in numerous international conferences and has held visiting positions in France, Spain, the UK, and the Czech Republic under academic exchange and Erasmus+ programs. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Contemporary Applied Mathematics and has reviewed for prestigious journals including Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH. His scientific contributions include over 40 peer-reviewed publications and multiple international grants. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Turkish.
