Professor Haitao Lyu is the Executive Associate Director of Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Medicine Phenome Research Center (HKPR) at School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University. He also holds the position of Principal Investigator (PI) at the State Key Laboratory of Medical Genomics (SJTU). Prof. Lyu is the elected member of The European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Class II of 2024, Medicine) and the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB). He is recognized as a Faculty Opinions (F1000 Prime) expert. Previously, Prof. Lyu was the tenured professor at the Shanghai Center for Systems Biomedicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prof. Lyu led 17 national and regional competitive grants from different funding agencies in China, Australia and USA. Prof. Lyu has published 66 papers in many high-profile journals and secured many prestigious awards and fellowships, such as Agilent Global-Competitive ACT-UR Award and QUT VIce Chancellor Research Fellowship, F1000 Faculty of The Year 2022 Award. Prof. Lyu also holds the journal  editorial roles for Pharmacological Research (Q1, Top) (Section Editor), Phytomedicine (Q1, Top) (Associate Editor). Prof. Lyu is the vice Chairman of  Fangjiomics Speciality Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, and Vice Secretary General of Chinese Metabolomics Society at Biophyical Society of China.
