Georgios Vousinas is Director in a multinational firm and Senior Researcher at National Technical University of Athens, with over 20 years of working and teaching experience. He is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Financial Studies at the Faculty of Economics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in the areas of Corporate Finance & Banking. He is a graduate of the Department of Economics of NKUA, with postgraduate studies in Financial Management (Athens University of Economics and Business) and Management of Telecommunications Networks and Information Systems (NKUA). He is a recognized researcher (with significant number of citations) and international speaker, and his publications include papers published in fully reviewed academic journals, chapters in scientific books and papers presented in both academic - and business - oriented international conferences (double blind review system). His research interests include political economy, new technologies and policy, finance, internal audit and fraud. Among other achievements he is the author of the fraud hexagon theory, world’s latest theory on fraud. He is the founder and President of the Hellenic Institute of Political Economy (HIPE).
