Zheng Wei, male, born in 1977, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He is a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education of China, a foreign academician of the Russian Engineering Academy, the dean of the Institute of Space Remote Sensing and Marine Surveying and Mapping of Harbin Institute of Technology, a tenured professor at the second level, a doctoral supervisor, and holds a Doctor of Science degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (supervisor: Academician Luo Jun), and was a postdoctoral fellow at Kyoto University in Japan. He was selected as the chief scientist of key projects of the Military Science and Technology Commission, a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation of the "Rising Liaoning Talents" Climbing Scholar, a high-level cultivated talent of the "Grassland Talents" Project, a high-level talent of the New Century in Hubei Province, a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and an outstanding young talent of China Academy of Space Technology. He has worked at the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (co-supervisor: Academician Xu Houze), Qian Xuesen Laboratory of Space Technology of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (co-supervisor: Academician Fan Benyao), and China Academy of Aerospace Innovation. His main research directions are satellite gravity/altimetry inversion and underwater integrated navigation. Currently, he serves as a director of the Chinese Inertial Technology Society and the director of the Sky-Sea Integrated Navigation and Detection Committee, a director of the Chinese Society of Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, a director of the Chinese Geophysical Society, a director of the Young Scientists Club of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the deputy director of the Aerospace Geophysics Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society, the deputy director of the Aerospace Security Parallel System Committee of the Chinese Institute of Command and Control, the deputy director of the Parallel Control and Management Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, an editorial board member of journals such as "Remote Sensing" (SCI), "Applied Geophysics" (SCI), "Journal of Chinese Inertial Technology" (EI), "Chinese Space Science and Technology", and an editorial board member of the "Geodesy and Geodynamics Series".
