Aurelia Patrascu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cybernetics, EconomicInformatics, Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Economic Sciences,Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti.

Since 2021, she is the President of the Senate from the Petroleum-GasUniversity of Ploiesti.

She was the Dean of the Economic Sciences Faculty from 2016 to 2020 andDepartment Manager between 2013 and 2016.

She has graduated the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineeringfrom the Petroleum –Gas University of Ploiesti. She has received herPhD in in the Economic Informatics domain from Academy of Economic Studies,Bucharest in 2011.

She teaches and coordinates the following disciplines: Introduction toComputer Science, Database Management Systems, Databases, Web Technologies.

Member of the following associations: AFER; AGER

Interest Fields: document management systems, database managementsystems, web programming and decision support systems.

She is author and co-author of 6 books and 50articles in the interest fields.
